Qn: (Can't recall the qn fully, something about students being trained not to say 'I don't know' even if they really don't know about something.)
Ans: Nowadays people just talk, and they don't really understand what they are talking about, eg. verbal diarrhoea in America. Talk things that make sense. So how do we ensure that we talk sense?
Only by doing a lot of reading. When I say 'read', I mean 'read BOOKS, from cover to cover'. One of the Musibah that has befallen us Muslims nowadays is lack of reading. I’ve always advocated this, in all my talks. We need to focus and specialize in our own field of knowledge (like the companions r.a. who have their own specialization in their own respective fields).

Read, read and read. It’s the first command revealed to us.
I see Islam in the West but I don't see Islam in Muslim countries.(sounds familiar:)) In America I saw a guy with very long hair was reading a novel in the train. They love to read! Whereas the opposite is happening in Muslim countries. The latest report shows that in Saudi, people do not read. If you want to go bankrupt, set up a bookstore there! (Lol)
My advice to youths is to THINK before you say something!
